The Natural Defense

How's about I post 10 or 12 photos of me urinating? Just pissin' up a storm, right here on Blogger. Wouldn't it be great to see that? It wouldn't? Why not? It's natural! Everybody pisses, right? Stop being such a fucking prude!

I'm carrying over an argument I got into on Facebook. This chick was mad because Facebook's rules won't allow her friend to post pics of breastfeeding. The argument being it is a natural thing, the baby's just eating, it's beautiful, it's a great way to share the pics with friends and family, etc. They went on to further explain that Facebook allows gratuitous tits and ass shots, why not a little wholesome titty suckin'?

I'll stand my ground. I understand that it's natural and it's a way children and mothers bond, but why is it necessary for Facebook to condone it? If you want to share photos of breastfeeding with your friends and family, send them the fucking pictures. Post 'em on Flickr, Snapfish, or buy a gotdamn domain for 12 cents a year and post whatever you want. But Facebook or any other social networking site doesn't owe you shit. It's theirs, they get paid for it, you're a gotdamn customer.

And as far as the tits and ass shots, aren't they natural too? Doesn't everybody have a chest and an ass? If your argument is the "natural" one, there are a lot of things that are natural. Like flat out fucking, bodies decomposing, or animals eating their young. You don't necessarily want to see that shit posted.

If you wanna keep arguing about your right to post pics of your baby eating dinner, I'm not gonna participate. I'd still question your motives, which you say ostensibly is to "teach mothers how to properly breastfeed". Step one, put your milk filled titty in a baby's mouth. Step two, wait until the baby stops sucking it. I think I got it. Thanks, middle class white lady!

Idiots!

although i do think that there are some predjudicial rules in place in regards to breastfeeding, I'm not sure that facebook is the forum to fight that battle.

Breastfeeding is natural, as are photos of breastfeeding however if facebook doesn't allow it, The La Leche League might need to just move on...

It's a slippery slope by sexualizing something that isn't sexual, however there are many other ways to share photos.

@Calikim
Thanks!

@AJ
Peeing ain't sexual either (usually). I know breastfeeding is natural, but a full fledged tirade on why you can't have breastfeeding photos on Facebook? Is it that deep? You got a thousand pictures of your ugly ass baby up. Do we really NEED more pics of him breastfeeding?

LOL
But I agree!

Well you don't have to call people's babies UGLY!

The penis all things phallic are regarded as sexual, where as the breast...well it's been like a redheaded step child.

I'm reaching for the lactating ladies but I can't feel them!

Well my question is, why everybody gotta think they have some since of entitlment on other peoples shit? You wanna show pictures of you throwing down with your newborn, pay the ticket and start a website. then you can do what you want.

How hard is that?

I agree. If she wants to teach someone something, start a website and start teaching. But on Facebook? Come on.

I 100% agree with you Zed. I too question her true motives. If it's that serious and she wants to "teach" new mothers how to breastfeed, start a darn website. Just because it's natural doesn't mean I, or others, want to be subjected to seeing it. On Facebook??? GTFOH!

I agree that there is bias against breastfeeding... They had to pass a law in Mass, so that breastfeeding women would not get arrested for indecent exposure.

On the other hand, when I was a credit counselor, I had at least two clients start feeding their children during the session ?!?!!

My mom breastfed all of us, but when we were in public, she covered up. Breastfeeding is a meal, but its also comfort and cuddle time for the baby. Which is why it shouldnt be done in a bathroom... or on Facebook.

She sounds like she's from New England. She should get down with the La Leche League and open a website.

I agree that it's not a bathroom activity. I even agree that it's not something that should be hidden away. What I do not get, nor will I ever get, is the insistence that it be something that you should be allowed to post on a social networking site. Why? I wanna know the REAL reason. Why? I think it's a way to draw attention to the mother. It's not about the baby or even the baby and the mother. The issue is the mother's cry for public fucking attention.

For a lot of folks breastfeeding IS a social event. I say if you gonna show some 19yrs nice soft firm titties, then tittie showing is open for everybody, but it ain't my sire so my opinion like so many others mean nothing. I swear the US stays on some ass backward shit...

I for one don't mind pissing pics, gives you an idea if a man is a "show-er" or a "grow-er".

I breast fed 2 of my 3. I even sent pics of me doing so to a few folks I knew wouldn't be all..."holy shit is that Poetry's tittie?"

I can see where she's coming from, it's natural and nothing that should be banned from a site that is obviously pro tittie anyway.

I do think she should let it go, you can't make people accept your titties it just ain't happening.

Maaaaannn....

@Poetry
You sent pics to people who wouldn't be freaked out about it. Some people can't handle it. I wouldn't "friend" somebody on Facebook with their titties and ass out, so I self-select in that regard. The bottom line is, it's their shit.

This lady I used to work with came in with pics of her pregnant belly to show us. It's beautiful and natural, but I didn't wanna see that shit and didn't wanna be made out to be the bad guy because I didn't. Cover that shit up! Or just don't show me. Because it had nothing to do with anything but her narcissism.

"Although peeing aint sexual," except for that Sex and The City episode where the Congressman Carrie dated wanted her (and like other past women) to pee on him while they showered. He got off on the warm liquid like a crying brestfed baby's mama breast lets down (the flow of milk). I'm just sharing from experience. And the few pictures I just happen to have from my children's tit-sucking days I can barely look at them. You know, I'm saddened by the size of my breast then vs. now. So sad them snatchers sucked the C-size right from under my nose. Literally.

You know I ain't naive about the sexual proclivities of some people. Fetishes exist about nearly everything.

Ahem...sorry about the cup size loss. Really, really sorry.

I don't even have pics of my own son breastfeeding much less looking at some other chicks titties or baby. I just don't happen to be one of those females that are into showing baby pictures. I don't ask for them, so don't pull them out. Pics or titties.

Havinf debates about vreastfeeding is wack. But then again, I think most things are wack...and I even swore that I would use a new word this year other than wack...month two of 09 and I am still on wack. *huge sigh*

I see since you signed up...you've become an addict. I still can't navigate it good enough to have debates with random midwest white women. *woe is me*

I lived with my former roommate for 3 years and never saw her titties. She had a baby and she was whipping it out all the time to breastfeed. I was like could you please cover that ish up. Nobody is trying to see that. Gah. I agree!
