To 99.9% of the bloggers, this post won't mean a damn thing.
Fuck Tom Breihan. This cracker has a gig reviewing hip-hop at the Village Voice and he writes like a bitch. This cracker believes that the world revolves around DipSet and Young Jeezy. He is a semi-literate jock sniffin' wanna be down ofay muthafucker. And if I ever see him, I'd kick him in the throat.
This bastard is what I call a contra-contrarian. If a contrarian takes the opposite side of an argument for the fuck of it, he takes the opposite of the opposite side of an argument. Which means he takes the populist side of an argument just because it pisses off the anti-establishment. The more ignorant and detrimental something is to the Black community, the more this cracker embraces it.
He don't know beats for shit and his simplistic fuckin' analysis is like a battle cry for anti-intellectualism. So I'm writing this blog to mirror his thought pattern, belligerent and ignorant. Fuckin' bleach bunny. And this bitch is a hip-hop reviewer in a widely read weekly mag.
Cracker.

If the mofo is White, then he aint got NO business writing about HipHop culture and nothing else "Black".
I hate it when other races try to be experts on the Black race. I'm like: The fuck would you know? You AINT Black like me.
White folks kill me.
Oh yeah: that was an interesting email you sent me. I'ma say this:
"Anything for laughs, I guess."
I haven't heard a Yo'Momma joke in SSSOOOO long; I thought people had forgotten about 'em. I wish a mofo would say to me "You so Black..."
You should let him know exactly how you feel. You should copy this post and send it to him.
Ciao-
D-n-la

OOOOKKKKK....
Did everyone in Blogdom's corn flakes get pissed in this week!!!
I'm wit you (even though I have no clue who you're talking bout) FUCK EM!
DAYUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Call me that 1%..... he's of the whole Stereotypical-Enimen-went-gold-so-I-know-RAP-era...
the VOICE has fallen.
Now they got ventriloquist writing and sh*t.
Easy,
bk babe
@Insanity
My hate of this cat has been building for months. His last shit article set me the fuck off!
This nigga's column, called "Status Ain't Hood" (which is some cracker shit to say anyway. What he know about what's "hood"?), is the epitome of a muthafucka that got too comfortable being a "guest" in somebody else's "home".
Hip-hop is home to a lot a Black people. Yeah, our "family" is fuckin' our home up! Disrespectin' the shit out of our home. And they invited this "guest" into our home, and this muthafucka thinks he's family. Puttin' his feet on the table. Leavin' dishes in the sink. I say this muthafucka gotta go!
@Anon
It took everything in my power not to post a comment on that muthafucka's spot. Had he responded, you would've heard about his stabbing on TV.
@Miss Ahmad
I'm kind of a New York-o-phile, so I read a lot of NY shit that doesn't concern me.
@Dynasty
You can read this asshole dilettante's shit at http://www.villagevoice.com
He's a bastard.
@RD
Hey baby! I missed you! Let's see them tan lines.
@BB
Where on God's Green Earth have you been? I'm glad to see you on this piece, even for a drop by.
Speaking of hip hop. I have a Slish mix at six of underground beats I put together actually I have a few. Let me know if you're interested, cause the shit their playing on the radio is not HIP HOP!!!!! except for that new Busta Joint " This is my NY shit" although he snatched up Diamond D's beat.
*lol* at Bleach Bunny....
I love that word, ofay...
I called a few people ofay and they had no idea what I was saying, I told them to get their dictionary....*lol*
i don't that dude but....
FUCK THAT CRACKER!
that felt good :)
that dude is just one small fish in the big ass pond of bullshit that commercial hip hop is and has become.
Cracka!
HEE!
But yo. Fuck that dude.
So when YOU starting your hip-hop blog/column?
its good to know that the anger is still there...i have missed you and i plan to read all of what i have missed... hopefully no news at "Bat" cuz if i remember b4 i left the blogosphere...she was displaying some psycho habits.
It actually wouldn't be so bad if he didn't derisively talk about cats like Mos Def as "those boring conscious rappers". I thought that cat was doing a parody of a hip-hop column for the first few week. Seriously.
@Slish
Hell yeah I'm interested!!! I'm always interested in beats.
@Nsane
That "ofay" is some ol' seventies shit. I luv it when I get a chance to use it.
@Aquababie
See? Don't you just feel freer?
@EOC
He truly believes that if a cat isn't rappin' about guns, broads and dope he's on some bullshit. The blood of the cul-de-sac runs through his punk ass veins.
@SS
Who would read the rantings of a madman?
I guess there are a few of you that do!
@Truthz
Hey!!!!!!!! You're back? Or are you just dropping by?
Batshit is still crazy. I've got a billion brand new stories about her, but I don't post 'em that much. She's still a character, but she's not MY character anymore.
KZ
get it all out, zed...get it all out.
what you say about the "guest in our home but he still ain't fam" shit is on point. i'm so tired of checking the magazines and seeing folk other than black folk writing about hip-hop culture as if they've got insight into it. bk babe is right...that whole eminem phenom shit got white folk everywhere thinking they 'down' enough to write about it as if they know what they're talking about.
what does 'ofay' mean
@Nikki
They are now the arbiters of hip-hop standards and shit. It makes me fume. I had a discussion a few months ago with some friends of mine regarding my profession. We ought not let people "intellectualize" our thoughts for us.
@Stilts
"Ofay" is pig latin for "foe". In old school parlance, the "foe" is whitey.
KZ
It's for reasons such as this that I don't read too much into what critics say. I hate critics. Who are they to tell me what i will like or not like. They don't know me.
Wow! What makes it so bad is now I have to go google him so I can read a couple of his articles to see whats the for real, for real!
Holla!
OH! OH! I just read the past few post you have written and I am in love with your site already.
Keep writing my brother...
Oh! How did "The World is Flat" turn out? I would get the book...but hey! I'm not a CEO! HA! Just kidding. But for real...educate us a little!
Holla!
lol
i usually dig the Voice, but sometimes they be off base. did you read the article on Slate.com about the controversy (of sorts) about Stephin Merritt & his dislike of hop hop. it is very interesting (and so are the bloggers replies).
check it:
Blacklisted
Is Stephin Merritt a racist because he doesn't like hip-hop?
@ON
I don't necessarily follow what critics say word for word, but I do try to use what they say as a guide for purchases. If they hate something, and they say it reminds them of something I like, then I might like it by that logic. That's usually how I use criticisms.
@Ms. TJ
I still haven't finished The World Is Flat. I'm reading 4 books concurrently. I gotta get back to that one. I'm close to the end. So far, it makes some interesting points. But ultimately, it's kind of bullshit.
@Prisoner's Wife
Yeah, I read it and I think it's a valid claim. Not necessarily his dislike of hip-hop, 'cuz I hate a lot of this shit, but his overall dismissal of the pillars of American music in general. Stephin Merritt is a racist.
KZ
Absolutely positively bruh...
That shit he spews is incoherent bullshit to those that live hip hop.
I'm glad you put that out there because I got peoples that think him and others words is spoken on the behalf of us.
Bullshit.
@Hassan
This is part of the reason I was so disappointed in the Source and their loss of critical integrity over the last decade. That was a magazine that I considered "our voice". It turns out, once again, that it was "their voice".
KZ
KZ, I'm back with more realer than life stories
