The reason I HAD to talk to him was that he's a City Commissioner. We were discussing appointments to other boards and commissions and I was talking about the effort to have a diverse pool of candidates.
That gave him an opening to start in on diversity. He felt comfortable going there because the City Commission appointed me to my position. So he's pretty much like "Fuck you" to me.
I couldn't cuss his ass out, but I told him that I'd make sure "the community" knew about the selection process. You know which "community" I'm talking about too.

That means we couldn't get low interest loans to buy homes and they would not be underwritten by Fannie Mae.
