I remember VH1 soul was banging Novel's joint the fall/winter of 04/05 in it's rotation.
Dude had a release party in the Chi and like 3 people showed up. I was there to get the free swag and to meet this sister who was on the street team.
Haven't heard from dude since... (I did get a copy of the album, it is written well - Solomon Burke is his grandpop)
